The minute I read that Michael Cochrane was in the movie - once again - I knew that it would be a good movie. Not because I like him, not at all, but he's that sort of "parasite" that - by chance or by some higher power - only happens to appear in the really really great Sharpe movies like Sharpe's Eagle and Sharpe's SwordThe movie already amused

That does Sharpe shoot Harper thing came at the end of the first ep, and I wailed at the timing of that cliffhanger! ;-)
You're lucky you didn't have to sit through all the ad breaks, too. ;-0
I don't think we were supposed to think Sharpe was dead, but to know that he was there and that he has reason to hold a grudge. Still, it made me sit up and pay attention. :-P
I thought the villain fellow was quite hot, he was the most recent villain in the Bond movies, too, I think. (I'm forgetting it now, it's been so long! *giggles*)
Sharpe goooooooooood.
I don't have a Beanie icon. Darn.
*uses most recent icon acquisition instead*

Do you really think he was hot? O_O I thought him yucky and ugly... *frowns* But that would mean we won't have to fight for him. *LOL*
Wasn't the last Bond movie The World is not Enough? I saw that one at the cinema and it definitely wasn't the same villain. I'd recognize Robert Carlyle everywhere! :D
LOVE THAT ICON!

But the old evil army guy was just plain gross. :-P
The most recent one was Die Another Day. I think the actor's name was Toby something. Or Andy. Something-y.
It's great isn't it? I stole it from severa, and I think, though I'm not 100% sure that she made it. Makes me giggle.

Ah right. I forgot about that one. So he was in Die Another Day? *checks imdb.com* Oh right. He was. And he even was in The Great Gatsby and Cambridge Spies! Interesting!

I wasn´t all that happy with it (as I already told you), but hey, maybe I should just watch it again... *is happy to have an excuse*

Oh, it did that with me, too! There was Sharpe aiming at Harper, then the credits, and then a scene of Sharpe hopping around somewhere on the castle grounds and I was like - WTF? *LOL*
I didn't find Toby Stevens' character hot in any way - and I'm probably alone with this point of view - but I liked the king very much... :D

Ya know, it's so funny you should mention that, cause I was thinking the same thing while I slobbered. He was very hot indeed and I loved the way his hair layed on his nape, mmmmmmm.....
I'm glad you liked it and yes, the Beanie is getting better and better!
