I haven't posted much lately. Lucky has been spayed and is still under the influence of pain medication. Work is going very well. I've help processing tons, but I'm still trying to get the hang of Cataloging. I'm doing e-books, and I'm still wrapping my head around subject headings.

Rody and Arie came and we got Wendy's for lunch. Today I did mostly processing of the CDs. I watched a training video that was actually informative, since Joseph is preparing for Staff Day tomorrow. The display looks good. I hope I can finish the CDs today and get mack to processing books. Horizon went down again for a few hours.

I watched DuBarry Was a Lady this morning and the Cole Porter song "Friendship" was stuck in my head all day. Stuart was excited that today was the last day before he took his family on vacation t the Gulf Coast ( Read more... )

Today I went to work. I'm trying to apply for a TCC librarian position. I talked about it with Spencer and he gave me a lot of good advice. He was tired from his son's birthday party this weekend. Winston had turned 4 or 5.

Saturday was work and then we went to Town Talk where I got some ridiculously good Paul Newman Chocolate Chip Mint cookies.

Sunday - I saw the Picasso & Braques exhibit ($8). It was okay.

Yesterday: work, Rody was annoying, saw Lucky. Watched Young Justice with Arie. it was only the first 4 episodes and we didn't like it. Miss Martian grates because she is so girly and not in a good way.

Today work & blah

Yesterday- We saw Green Lantern at the Dollar Theater. It was an awful movie, and everyone got upset when I said so. :/ Mark Strong was good as Sinestro.

Laze about until we went to get mom's medicine. Dad came by to borrow money. Finished Girl with a Dragon Tattoo and Watched all good things. The pacing was off. Applied for Garland and Grand Prairie librarian positions ( Read more... )
