This is a four-word idiom meaning in order not to let any outsiders see something precious, one never brings out outside. For example:
"This DVD is of a fresh-out-of-the-bath Ohno Satoshi, wearing nothing but a bathrobe and a grin, with the stem of a wine glass in one hand, facing the mirror by himself going, 'Renaissance!', and this precious footage has never left the door."
That was really well thought up! (laughs) I see. I have stuff like that, though. At my parents' home; I think they're still there somewhere. Recorded on mini-disc. Previously, I had an audio recorder and when I did the West Side Story musical, there was a song called 'Maria'. I have a version of the song that was never included (in the musical). (laughs) That is, I recorded my own voice singing it.
That was fairly intentionally... well, at first I took it pretty seriously. Like, "Maria~" and all. Then, naturally it's a musical, right? You get all highly emotional and sing just like that, right? You get all emotional and dance just like that, too. Something like that.
So then the song went further than that and I became all full of emotions singing it. I wanted to see what the song would be like if it were overflowing with emotions, so I did it like that by myself.
Afterwards, when the song went like, "Maria, Maria, Maria~!" and kept on repeating, that was the point with the incredibly highest key. It was like my voice probably broke by then. So I recorded something like that myself. (laughs)
MA~RI~AAA~~! AAA!!!" It ended up like that. I loved it too much, that Maria bit.
That was fun. It was like, AAAHH~~!! MA~RI~AAA~~! (laughs) Like I ended up coughing.
Now that was... I let my manager listen to it once. (laughs) Can't really bring that out, huh? (laughs) Silly, huh? Seriously. It's never leaving the door.
Everyone's definitely got something like that. Like, we all did that pretty often. When we were Juniors, Tackey and so on did that sort of thing pretty often. Like filming performances and stuff. Mm. I didn't appear in them. Aiba-chan and all often did that, didn't he? It was funny.
Man, there are loads. That's right, it's kinda... When I go back to my parents' house I'll go search around. My stuff that'll never leave the door.
Ah, that's right. You've heard about that. The one with the lines. Mm. I'll still be doing it this time, so if I record anything interesting I'll have it on radio. Stuff with the voices and so on. I'll be doing it from now on. I'll dig up all kinds of stuff when I go back home.
