Today is Sunday, and Sunday is Bacon Day at my house. Saturday is pie (meat pie - sort of like pot-pies for you Americans) day, but Saturday is gone and now it is Bacon Day. Rejoice!

Hi - you make the cutest things, may I friend this journal? I am jealous that you are two years younger than me and so talented at crafting - what have I been doing with my life, when I could have been learning to make felt rhinoceroses? Who knows...

Do you really have pies every Saturday and bacon every Sunday? I never considered the possibility of a special "bacon day", but now I may have to copy. I mean, it's BACON, yummy.

Please feel free to friend away! I love crafty friends / partners in crime!

I actually was a late bloomer to the craft scene. My mum, an avid knitter, sewer, crossstitcher, you-name-it was in mourning since it didn't seem like I'd ever catch the bug. Well I sure had her fooled!

And yes indeed, every Saturday we have meat pies for lunch and a bakery treaet for afters, and on Sundays we'll have a bacon brunch. I think it's a wonderful weekend tradition.

Cool - friended!

We go to my parents for lunch on Sunday - roast lunch (aka baked dinner, as my Australian husband calls it) so I'm going to institute a bacon breakfast I think. Of course, that's all rather unhealthy.... :D

You don't gain weight if you don't think about it. Sort of like the "there is no spoon" method from the Matrix, but on a calorie level. "There are no calories...."
