Despite the breakup, algeh and I have continued watching old series Doctor Who. I picked the latest batch by biking to the Beaverton library, and taking ones that I haven't seen since back in the day, (or ever) and that didn't have Daleks. Fall, suddenly. Summer was fairly cool around these parts, (and I am not complaining) but it picked an inconvenient weekend to break out into 90°F+ weather. Oh, I am fucked. I signed up for a one credit class on writing and recording audio stories that will take up most of next weekend. My grad school requires you to take two credits worth of what they call C.O.R.E. classes, which are generally about how social justice is a good thing and we should have more of it. I've picked up the bad habit of reading blogs targeted at beginning writers recently. The problem is, I'm not a beginning writer; I'm a wannabe writer. On a good day, I get a couple hundred words in, and good days are rare. One thing I've picked up from these blogs is that speed of writing is critical; you get better at the rate that you produce.
