I also intend to distribute some flyers and make some phone calls or write some letters to the representatives mentioned in the article.

I also found out that Terri Cole, mentioned as the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce, donated $2300 to Richardson for President, Inc. Which... I don't know if it matters, but I thought it was interesting

That is great info, and a good idea about the brochures. That donation to Richardson is interesting - as you say, it may have no bearing on this - maybe she's a Democrat? but it is interesting if it impacts whether or not Richardson may intervene or make his opinions known on certain legislation.
