Summary: When the bad guys get kryptonite Clark goes to Buffy.
Warnings: nope.
Timeline/Setting: post series for Buffy and sometime in the first year for Lois and Clark.
Author's notes(if any): nope. It’s fanfic…. Cue hand waving for ages and dates of characters.
“Hold your horses. I’m coming.” Dawn yelled to who ever was knocking at the door to their apartment at an extremely early time. “I was asleep. It’s early. You’re not getting good manners out of me.”
Opening the door Dawn saw a dark haired woman partly supporting a man in a dark coat. “What?”
“Let us in. He told me to bring him here.” The woman demanded.
“Who he and who are you?” Dawn asked.
Reaching over to pull open the coat as she said “I’m Lois.”
Seeing the large and distinctive S on his chest and getting a glimpse of his pained face Dawn moved out of the way so they could come in. “Get him to the couch and I’ll get Buffy.”
When Buffy came in the room Lois had gotten Superman laying on the sofa. “I was working on a story when I got a lead and found Superman in an alleyway. I said we should go to Clark but he kept saying to come here.”
“Clark left for Smallville last night. Buffy helped him pack and I called the airport to get him a flight.” Dawn quickly said as Buffy crouched down next to the couch.
“Smallville? Why’d he have to hurry home?” Lois wanted to know.
“I went with Buffy when she went over to get Clark to look over her resume and he got a phone call. When he hung up he was freeking out and all I’m sure of is that either his mom or dad is sick and the other called him. Buffy shoved him into his bedroom and told him what to pack and I called the airport.” Dawn explained.
“Okay. Dawn, I’m heading out. Stay here and if I’m not back by sunset, actually I’m not sure what you should do, but stay here with our friendly alien.” Buffy said as she opened the weapons chest to start loading up.
“Day long marathon of chick flick movies. Got it. Call when you can.” Dawn said picking up the remote, then Superman’s feet to sit on the couch putting his feet onto her lap.
“Ha Ha. Funny. Bye Dawn.”
As Buffy left Lois pointed from Dawn to the door, “Who are you two and why did Superman know and want to come here?”
“Umm, I’ll let Superman answer that question.”
“Thanks Dawn. Through me to the reporter.” Superman grumbled.
“You woke me up. At sunrise. Darn tootin I am.”
