This brings me back to my childhood. My dad called me to where he was sitting and I saw that the actress portraying Ariel from the Broadway version of the Little Mermaid was on the Today Show. She looked very much like Ariel. She sounded like her. But this clip isn't from that. I think this is from Good Morning America.
