Tokyo Plans Forming

Jun 26, 2014 21:20

Gacharic Spin announced that they'll be doing another gig in Tokyo while I'm there. It's part of a girls rock band event type of thing, seven bands are playing. I hope I'll be able to score a ticket, this seems like too much fun to pass up. Two of the other bands are familiar too, Tanaka Reina's LoVendoЯ and HP's THE ポッシボー are playing the same gig ( Read more... )

Wow, what - LJ marked this comment as spam, and I am sorry about that. Thank you for all of this info. This is great.

I have to add that riding a bike in the city scares the shit out of me, so that's out of the question - but I appreciate the info. You never know.

We definitely do go on day trips out of the city, but it's nice having a central base of sorts (where we now also feel pretty familiar).

Very good tip about shipping snacks, hahahhaa. We shipped a ton of books last year, perhaps this year we'll ship food stuffs instead. I guess I've been a little hesitant about this because 1. I find post offices very confusing 8D 2. I worry I'll accidentally ship stuff that needs to be taxed or that otherwise is restricted in some way that I don't know about. .... I guess I'll find out one way or the other.

I don't really have any insight into fun places in Tokyo...I'm just astonished at how much new to me stuff Hello Project still has going on after all these years. Wow, getting nostalgic all of a sudden!

I haven't been able to keep up with H!P or idol news. I still listen to old MoMusu, and I have found room in my heart for Momoiro Clover (SO MUCH FUN) and BIS (CRAZY). I'd love to be more active within the idol community, but I have realised that I don't have the energy for it ^^;

Cool, thanks for the link! Of course there's a frickin idol scheduler, hahahaha wow XD I am interested in all sorts of events, though. I'll search around and see where I end up :)

I am the other way around, I find the ticket machines easy and the resellers scary/confusing as fuck XD;;;;;; I'll gladly show you how to use the l-tike machines some time XDDDDD

I was thinking maybe one of those shopping services could get tickets for you and maybe send them over I don't know x.x I haven't looked into it too much but I will have a similar problem if I return in September...hmm hmm

If I was going this summer I would go see you & bie XD last year was so fun.
But apart from that, I would go meet with my Dutch friend again, and probably revisit some of the places I went to before, along with all the stuff I missed.
I really didn't plan anything and just kind of aimlessly walked or train'd about taking pics and didn't really *do* or see much. I had a guide book, which did actually have lots of cool stuff in it, but I missed so much because I didn't read it very well and was honestly surprised at some things I totally overlooked or just walked past when I went back to it later.

Oh yeah, and DISNEYLAND, I really should have gone, even on my own ^^

Yeah, I see there a services that can get tickets for you, but meh. This event isn't that important. It would be different if I knew Perfume or Momoiro were doing big gigs, though.

Walking around aimlessly (and getting lost) is usually the best way to do sightseeing :)

DISNEY~ yeah. I am totally doing Disney again :S
