There's Never Enough Time for Anything

Sep 26, 2012 23:03

I've got so many plans about things I want to do. I find it difficult to get started, because it's like each plan cancels each other out, and all I'm left with is work and whatever house chores I'm able to do before falling asleep. It's a bit of a shame, really, so I've realised I need a plan in order to make this work.

Bit early for resolutions already, isn't it?

I didn't know setting goals for yourself or deciding to accomplish things was something that could be done only once a year?

I've never really done the whole resolutions thing anyway.

I like this plan! I should come up with one. As it stands, I'm arriving home from work with only just enough energy to make a meal (sometimes less!), and then I end up just watching TV all evening. Even worse, it means I've got nothing to talk about with my flatmates, because they're doing the same.

I'm getting a little exercise from cycling to work, but probably not enough.

Yeah. Come home, watch tv, maybe play some games if I feel like it, internet, sleeeeeep. :/ none of these things are suitable conversation topics for people at work (whom I still haven't really had the guts to really talk to yet. Lolololol).

Life is difficult 8D

I like your goals!
But if I had a loft space in my apartment, that's be where I sleep! XD
I am pretty energetic these days, but I know that it's usually the other way around. All my colleagues favor hibernation (if they could pick) and I'm all bouncy. You have no idea how many weird looks I get these days, but I'm really tired of explaining myself to all those people who keep asking me how I could possibly be so giddy in this shitty weather. *headdesk*

Awesome! :D

Yeah, that was our original plan as well. We did sleep up there the first couple of months after we moved in, but it turned out to be impossible. You can't stand upright, which is kind of annoying after a while, climbing up an down to get to the bathroom... not to mention that our apartment has terrible air circulation. The loft space gets incredibly hot, and the air is completely still, so lol. No. It was fun while it lasted, though.

Haha, aww.

Yeah, I love it :D Really glad I bought it XD; I was originally looking for a jogging type of gadget, but was drawn in by the cuteness of the pudding icons on this one :P

Is there room in your flat for a treadmill or stair-stepper thing? You could do your exercises indoors, then.

=^..^=~

... did you read the part about me living in a one room flat? And having to get rid of stuff because of lack of space? Yeah.

Hey. You could be like my dad and get rid of stuff to have more room but just fill up the room right away. It's a possibility. Not a smart one, but a possibility all the same.
