A/N: This will eventually be a side story to a teletraan centric fic I'm writing, but I just love Ratchet and the Twins, and the bunny started gnawing at my brain.

“I just don’t understand.” Ratchet moaned into his cube, “I’ve tried everything!”

“Really?”

“Everything!” The medic glared at the cube, as if it was the cause of his suffering. “I’ve tried asking nicely. I’ve tried beating their heads in with a wrench. I’ve even tried assigning them to First Aid in an attempt to encourage them to get into my good graces. Sunstreaker almost took his arm off, and Sideswipe took it as a challenge!”

A crane arm deployed from the orange ceiling, holding a new cube of higrade. Ratchet accepted the cube, quickly breading into the contents.

“I asked nicely.” Ratchet’s voice turned whining, beginning to slur with overcharge. The five cubes scattered around his feet attested to his current state.

“Please don’t bother the seekers so much, I say, I don’t like repairing you. Then they turn around and take it as a challenge, which twin can get slagged the fastest playing grope the pretty wings! Fragging glitches, no thought for the worry their actions cause!”

“Shh, I’m sure they don’t mean to make you fret.”

Ratchet sniffed, empty cube falling from his servo as his constitution finally collapsed. The medic was unequivocally overcharged. More arms extended, ushering the mech into his berth and setting an overcharge cure and a ration cube on the medic’s bunk shelf.

“I wish they would listen.” Ratchet pleaded into his empty quarters, optics dimming in exhaustion. “I just wish…”

“What do you wish?”

Ratchet finally offlined his optics and cycled down into recharge, fatigued after long joors of saving his Twin Terrors from the brink of death. Again. “I just wish they would love me as much as I love them.”

Teletraan finally shut off the recording unit, sending a copy to a particular pair of frontliners recovering in the medbay. Ratchet would be furious when he found out about Teletraan’s trickery.

The supercomputer briefly felt guilt for tricking his friend, but deleted the function after a second’s debate. He was growing tired of the trio’s constant dance around each other. It was about time they admitted their emotional algorithms and fragged their processors out.

Teletraan denied any accusation Red Alert made about enjoying his mischief.

XXXXXXX

A decaorn later Teletraan found a file filled with rare and beautiful gladiator love chants. No one had seen sight of the Twins or the medic for about that long, although Red Alert had reported a malfunction in the medbay’s second ICU room’s lock, although he didn’t seem particularly worried by the malfunction. Strange noises had been rumored to be coming from behind the locked door.

A vorn later, the ARK crew celebrated the bonding of their CMO to his two most common patients
.
Teletraan’s work was complete.
