Today is my birthday....21.

Hm....weird.

i just wanted to let whoever cares know that mom's surgery today went well.  she's fine and highly medicated and all that good stuff.

and now i am going to go crash into my bed (literally) because i spent almost 12 hours (highly anxious hours at that, and a solid 10 and a half in a tiny little depressing waiting room) in a hospital today.

It's snowing...A lot.  = D

If only it would've done this earlier.  Life would be so much better if it had.  Maybe it'll keep doing it, a lot, often, and then maybe things will get better.  Maybe?  I hope...

I guess that groundhog was wrong.

no, really.  it does.  i have proof.

last night i got a wicked huge splinter in my foot.  and no matter what we did, it wasn't coming out.  luckily, grandy managed to get it out today (saving me a trip to the doctor...)  but let me tell you, that thing was huge.  i mean, maybe not long, but thick.  and ow.  it still kinda hurts, too.  which sucks.

It's snowing!
Snow with actual snow on the ground. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it's making me awfully happy!!! And we all know, that the day of the first snow is a magical day! (Well, any day with snow is a magical day, but expecially the first.)
