I need to start doing and stop preparing for doing. I have such a disgustingly ornate and time-consuming weaving due next Thursday and I have barely begun. I am using a really fine 20/2 silk thread for the warp and the weft. I missed a step going down the stairs at the library yesterday--I was distracted by a couple visiting the school. In missing that step like a complete idiot, I managed to fuck up my ankle, and it has been abnormally swollen since. I bought 100 ft. and a 50 ft. spools of firecracker fuse. Before they processed my order at skylight.com I had to submit my drivers license and sign a liability waiver. Frightening.
