I need to start doing and stop preparing for doing. I have such a disgustingly ornate and time-consuming weaving due next Thursday and I have barely begun. I am using a really fine 20/2 silk thread for the warp and the weft. For the samples we have been using a density of 15 warp threads per inch wide, but for this I am doing 40 warp ends per inch. For the samples, the weavings have been 64 warp threads wide, whereas for this weaving it is going to be 720 warp threads wide. After I finish the weaving, I am going to be using it as the cloth covers for a handmade journal. Ugh. What am I doing to myself? I have been such a nervous, edgy wreck the past two weeks. I think I have a grip on it, but come on. I need to stop all of that so I can get all this work done.
