Fanart? Ohgod, that's gonna be hard LOL. Anyway, I hope when you say more traditional you refer to the having the picts provided and that. cause really, i adore this challenges, they actually make me want to do different things and try different techniches and all those things LOL.

OMG--I love fanart challenges. We did one the first cycle (Round 6) and it was my absolute favorite round. So many people stay away from fanart because they are too lazy to ask for permission, but since I'm doing it for you, there should be no qualms. It's such a wide, untapped visual source for new icons.

HAHAHA. I stay away from it cause i find it really hard to work with. there's so much design and art and everything already on fanarts, that i find it the most difficult to work with. specially colours, colours are so hard and are like my favourite thing to work with lol. And i'm rambling. So... i'd better shut up lol.

That's very true. I try to choose more plainer fan art for icons--portraits of the characters so you can still play with textures and color.

But, anyhow, now you'll have no choice but to try, bwahaha. And hopefully by the end you'll be an expert at iconizing fan art, adding to the list of all your talents. :)
