I baked a loaf of bread tonight. A whole huge loaf of wheat bread. I'm not sure how we're supposed to eat it with all of the melted plastic that has seeped into the little holes and things. It smells sort of gross and nasty. But I'm sure there's fiber in it. Somewhere ( Read more... )

It's not that bad. I've got all the windows open today and the fans going. And I think they're MOSTLY done. Except that we'll be repainting this weekend. (Ugh! But at least it won't be BRIGHT brilliant blue! We're looking at more of a gunmetal blue/gray...) But HOPEFULLY after this weekend we'll have our kitchen back together!

Oh...and the party for this weekend? Due to events in Louisiana, we're going to call it off. A bunch of the people that were coming are from that area and things are chaotic.

So that's actually a BIG relief off my shoulders! LOL!
