- My landlady "apparently" (used loosely) found an extra rent cheque written for January (she had called and said I didn't give her one, now apparently I gave two) and decided to cash both July and extra January last week. Thus my account has been in overdraft, and will be until I get paid Friday. The downside: I'm living very modestly off Visa

Don't make a dedicated partition just for XP, run it with Virtual PC (you have the RAM).

Your herbs may be dying from too much love. If they do die, well at least you don't need them looked after while you're away.

P.S. Try to leave Texas in better shape than you found it.

Just because I have the RAM does not mean I want to abuse it until it calls me mommy.

The only thing I think I'll want to change about Texas will be the heat. Tooooo hot.
