you know i l♥ve Torchwood but...

Torchwood US?! ...really?

...if there's something i love about Torchwood is that it is very British (and the homoerotism, duh! xD) I guess that if they work with a proper cast it could work... still, if it happens i'm tuning in just because is Torchwood, but i'm not expecting much.

All I have to say is DNW FOX! As they always bring brilliant shows and then cancel them. I will not make a list but I will think about it really loudly. :(

Considering the slagging that people have done over other Brit-TV remakes, I don't know that I'd have the highest hopes for it! Although, homoeroticism is always a good thing.

it's not actually a remake, it's more like an extend of the actual show.

It won't be about the same Torchwood but US characters, i read that it's about a brand new Torchwood but in the same world as Torchwood UK...

You know it's gonna fail - it's gonna be on Fox. What are the odds of the Fox execs sticking to the 'everyone's bi and horny' when it comes to the male characters? They're going to insist that their Jack and Ianto is a straight couple.

i don't think it's going to be a remake, i think it'll be more like another Torchwood but in the same universe of our Torchwood.

So i don't think there'll be another Ianto and another Jack, but probably a brand new group.... an american one, which means it won't be as sexualy open as Torchwood uk.

then again, when was the last time FOX had a succesful sci-fi show? Dollhouse? Terminator? Tru Calling? Firefly? ....yeah...

I don't know, I had heard remake, since they would probably be removing the ties to the Doctor Who-verse, given that Fox's audiences may not have seen it. But I'd heard that Barrowman might be involved in the project as well.

I don't know. I just don't have much faith in it having an honest shot, and I definetly don't think for a second it will be anywhere near as gay.
