TVRealm Merit Badges
We're doing this a bit differently this time around.
• TVRealm badges are changing entirely! There will no longer be any nomination based merit badges.
• Badges will be associated with challenges and ANY member can earn the challenge merit badge by doing extra work than what the original challenge requires. Consider it a bonus badge that earns you bonus points.
• Badges will be worth around 5-15 bonus points. Information on how to earn your bonus points/badge will be posted with each challenge.
• Though the bonus points may come in small amounts for the work that is required to earn them, it is the only way to earn extra points. So they're meant to be harder to get than average challenge points.
• Work done for badges is due by challenge due date. So submit your badge work with your challenge entry or separately before the challenge closes. We will tally your bonus points when we tally your challenge points. The spreadsheet points will indicate which badges you have earned.
• These bonus points WILL go towards the total team points earned for that challenge and thus, which team won that challenge.
• Hover over badges to see what badge they are, and click badges to go to the challenge its associated with.
