Curtis is sitting in front of the TV, eyes glazed, the remote loose in his hand. The TV is playing an infomercial about exercise equipment, something even Curtis wouldn't normally watch, but it doesn't seem like he's all there. He may be thinking, but if he is his expression gives nothing away.

Newbie tiptoes in, his arms full of fruit gathered from outside, and perches on the end of the couch. He's not sure if Curtis is still mad at him or not for locking him in the doctor's office. After a moment, he nudges Curtis with his toe.

Curtis looks vaguely startled and turns his head to find Newbie next to him. Newbie and fruit. "Hey," he says quietly before looking back to the TV.

Well, he's not threatening Newbie with death or grounding him from the tv or anything. That's promising.

"Whatcha watching?" Newbie asks, just to make conversation. He can see what Curtis is watching for himself, but he's still nervous about his acts of false imprisonment.

"I have no idea," Curtis admits with a sigh. He gives up the remote to Newbie and lays down on the couch, giving up on the whole vertical thing.
