Well, we have to be on an L licence for a year, P1 for a year, P2 for 2 years, and then we can go for our full licence. This is only in NSW, however. Apparently other states are a bit more relaxed about their licencing laws.
Well, that's $1.30 a litre in Australia's largest inland city. It's probably worse in small rural towns.
It snows in various places along the Great Dividing Range, mostly around the NSW/Victoria border. I've never actually seen it myself though :)

Also, licsencing is ridiculous, three or so years minimum to get a full liscence, there's time restrictions and passenger limits.
1.30$ A Liter!? D: At worst its like 1.21$ a liter.

Also the "Swap-back-and-forth-I-can't-decide" phase
I read a "you know you're from [my town] when..." article once and it listed "think it's normal to go through 4 seasons in a single afternoon." :D
Then again, we also have the proverb there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. Which is... very true, really.
