I really do love this meme. It makes me laugh forever each new time :)
Now for random observations and cultural comparisons:
I drink tap water. Apparently Australian tap water beats world standards for safe drinking water by a fair bit, so yeah. better than paying for the bottled stuff.
I know the capital of Canada is Ottawa! Ha! *feels intelligent*
Your 'N' license sounds something like our 'P' plate license, if police strictness is anything to go by. Does it involve being a young driver and having ridiculous restrictions like limited passenger numbers at certain times and speed restrictions?
I thought 'fast ferries' was a worldwide oxymoron.
I don't know what you mean by gas, but it's at least $1.30/L here for unleaded petrol. Elgas is something like 90c. things are cheaper in cities like Sydney and Melbourne.
Hrm. I'm used to no mountains and no ocean, and sometimes even no trees while driving. And this is just in the typical Aussie outback scrubland. I seriously don't think I've ever seen anything worthy of being called a real mountain, actually.
None of our capital cities have snow ploughs, I'm pretty sure. Then again, it doesn't snow in our capital cities because they're all coastal (except Canberra).
Well, we have to be on an L licence for a year, P1 for a year, P2 for 2 years, and then we can go for our full licence. This is only in NSW, however. Apparently other states are a bit more relaxed about their licencing laws.
Well, that's $1.30 a litre in Australia's largest inland city. It's probably worse in small rural towns.
It snows in various places along the Great Dividing Range, mostly around the NSW/Victoria border. I've never actually seen it myself though :)

Okay, I stop spamming you now :)

Also, licsencing is ridiculous, three or so years minimum to get a full liscence, there's time restrictions and passenger limits.
