Eeek!!!

[The little unicorn girl stumbled back, hooves clicking over the roots as her tail poofed three times larger then it already was, hair and fur standing on end.

When she realized it was just a human girl in front of her though, she tried to calm down, planting a hand over her heart. Despite what the other Unicorns in the Glen said, she had never had a bad meeting with a human, and she was too far away from the glen to be worried she might follow her there.]

[She tilted her head a little and gave her a small smile, reaching around and fiddling with her tail.]

Is there a human town around here?

[ Ahiru nearly did a double-take at the sight of her double---which looked unlike any of the other ones she had seen.

What... was she? The girl looked like something right out of a fantasy book! ...Not that Ahiru could technically talk in that case, but...

Tentatively, she approached the newcomer with a small smile. ]

Um... hello! Are you new here?

[Oh another human? Her ears flicked in the direction of the voice, before she turned to face her, fingers twined infront of her.]

Oh hello! I'm just a li-

[She stopped at the sight of the girl before her, blue eyes widening like saucers as she placed a hand over her mouth. There was a girl. A girl that looked just like her! Only human!]

Oh!

[She couldn't contain her curiosity, and pricked her way over to her double, tail swishing as she stopped a few feet away from her.]

You look just like me!

[ Ahiru giggles nervously, raising a hand behind her head. ]

Ahahaha... pretty crazy, huh? There's a lot more of me--I mean, us--that are here. And lots of doubles of other people too. Itcanreallytaketimetogetusedto.

[ She finds herself once again staring at her odd doppelganger. ]

You look... different from the other doubles I've seen! I doubt you'd get mistaken for another one. [ She smiles in a friendly manner. ] So um... where do you come from?

Its very hard to look completely human. [She informed her rather matter-of-factly, tilting her head as she examined the girl.]

I'm from...um...

[She wasn't allowed to tell humans that... So instead she smiled and twined her fingers together.]

Somewhere quite different from here!

[The Unicorn smiled at the sight of the animal, her worry soothing a little now that she could ask someone for directions. Crouching down and leaning on her knees, she reached out a hand to the fat creature.]

Hello there! I seem to have wandered too far away from the Glen, would you be able to tell me where I am? My teacher is going to be worried if I'm gone too long Mr. Cat.

[Her ears drooped when the cat simply sniffed her suspiciously, honestly never seeing a reaction like that before.]

Can't you talk? Is there something wrong with this part of the woods? The trees arent saying anything either.

[[Upon seeing the Ahiru double in front of him, he knew immediately he hadn't met her before. Actually, he doubted he had seen *anyone* like her in this town. ...Was that a horn on her forehead?]]

[[Realizing he's within hearing distance, he composes himself and attempts to look friendly despite his amazement and curiosity...and of course, that aptly named Mischief shard.]]

[The unicorn stopped at the sight of the white haired youth, and instantly a bright smile broke over her features.]

[She dashed up to him, grabbing his hand with both of hers warmly as she all but beamed up at him, her small horn glowing happily.]

Mytho! I didn't think I'd see you here! This part of the woods is so strange, the trees wont tell me where I am and I met a cat that doesn't talk and humans that look like me! Its all very strange.

[[Mytho blinks a bit bewilderedly as he listens to her chatter on.]] Oh, dear, umm...trees, and cats, talking? And...humans, that look like you? ...Pardon me, but...what might you be, if you're not a human?

[The light of her horn dulled at that, and her ears drooped as she tried to read his expression. He...didnt know what she was? Was he her Mytho then...? Maybe all human boys DID look the same. This would be very confusing.]
