She had never been afraid of being in the woods at night, after all she lived in the glen and none of the animals around there were dangerous for Unicorns Besides, the moon was bright and lit the trees in a way

*Moon had wandered off; it by now had become an almost classic, easily-guessable excuse as to why Ahiru would one, leave the house, and two, leave the house and wander farther than the main streets of town. Had Moon heard a bit of the song from the forest, or had he, in that cat way, almost "sensed" there was a new animal around that he had to assert dominance over? Who could say. Ahiru most certainly didn't know what was prompting the very round white cat to go into the forest, but she follows anyway, Affection and Curiosity fluttering in her chest, which is currently covered by her fancy blue dress and the yellow ducky pillow which sat over it as always. Moon, quite a ways ahead of her, gives a sniff, and darts off in a particular direction through some bushes, ending up right in the other Ahiru's path. What he sees on the other side is something foreign: something almost human, but also almost animal, with blue eyes and red hair like the girl he accompanies. He studies her for a long moment, keeping his distance but very clearly in front of her and very clearly staring her down.*

[The Unicorn smiled at the sight of the animal, her worry soothing a little now that she could ask someone for directions. Crouching down and leaning on her knees, she reached out a hand to the fat creature.]

Hello there! I seem to have wandered too far away from the Glen, would you be able to tell me where I am? My teacher is going to be worried if I'm gone too long Mr. Cat.

*Moon looks up at the foreign creature sitting in front of him, his beady black eyes suspicious as he leans in enough to sniff at her a bit closer. This creature that looked like his redhead companion didn't smell human, but she didn't smell like anything familiar, either. ...At least she didn't smell like crows or goblins, he seems to suppose.*

[Her ears drooped when the cat simply sniffed her suspiciously, honestly never seeing a reaction like that before.]

Can't you talk? Is there something wrong with this part of the woods? The trees arent saying anything either.

*Moon gives a little sneeze, seeming to see the double as harmless enough, and rubs up against her knee as if expecting "due" attention. A little ways away Ahiru goes where she saw Moon disappear, and with some difficulty she pushes the bush aside and walks around it. On the other side, she finds Moon with...someone who rather looks like a double of her...but also rather does not, for the horn in the middle of her forehead and her tail. Ahiru blinks widely and curiously at her, and takes a step closer.* ...Hello.

[The unicorn frowned a little sadly, but she pet the cat softly as a rustle of the bushes caught her attention. Out stepped another human double of hers, and she blinked, ears flicking up a little. Was she that bad at telling these humans apart? She had really only payed attention to Mytho...Maybe all female humans looked like this.

She gave the cat one more scratch before standing up, scratching the back of her leg with the other hoof a little nervously.]

Hello! You wouldn't happen to be this cat's person would you?

I guess I am. *A leaf falls out of her hair into her line of vision, and Ahiru smooths another one out, both of which had probably gotten on her when she'd pushed the bush aside.* ...Moon stays with Rue and me, and we walk together...but he's not from my world. *Ahiru glances at her hooves curiously, but not rudely, and then asks,* ...Is your name Ahiru too?

[She blinked, before nodding and walking towards her, circling the human girl.]

Yes, I am! Is your name Ahiru too? Do all human girls look like this?

[It would be confusing if all human girls were named Ahiru. Would that mean all human boys were named Mytho?]

[schwanherz]

*Ahiru watches her as she circles her with Curiosity, finally going around in a circle herself to follow her movement. *She nods at the name question.* Mm-hmm. *But then she shakes her head at the second question.* ...Mm-mm. Some are tall, and some have darker hair, like Rue does. *She blinks again at her.* ...What are you? I've never seen another Ahiru like you before.

Rue? I've never met a Rue. [She stopped at her question, tilting her head slightly as she peered at the human girl.]

I'm a Unicorn of course.

*Ahiru steadies her arms around her ducky pillow.* My Rue has dark hair and violet eyes, and she's my Knight.

*Ahiru's eyes widen a bit, having heard of unicorns in some of the stories Rue used to read to her as a child.* A unicorn? *This does surprise her a little, as the unicorns she'd heard about looked different than this Ahiru...but she did have a horn like one.*

...I've never seen a unicorn before...we don't have any in Kinkan Town. But Rue told me they're white, and they look like horses with horns on their heads. *Moon idly waddles by, coming around the unicorn Ahiru to rub up against her furry legs some more, his short tail curling just slightly around one of them as he goes.*

[She frowned a little at that. Knights often were the death of unicorns, according to those in the glen. She'd have to be careful of these 'Rue's. ]

Mmm We look more like...[she wrinkled up her nose and thought on how best to describe unicorns] Like...a horse with goats hooves...and lions tails, and horns of course. We're smaller then horses, most of us. But there's brown unicorns and white unicorns and pink and blue and tan...

We can take human form too! I'm just...not very good at it. [She'd like to be human for Mytho, but it was hard to get it completely right.]
