Thank you, yuliee, for pointing out that when we screen comments after they've been posted, the person being replied to doesn't get LJ notifications. ;) I, for one, have alerts on for screened comments so I get everything but a lot of people don't. :P

With that, the rule on screening non-vote comments when posting on apps is now officially removed. So

I know, right? I was so excited when Tomoyo-chan first told me about them, too. :) We'll be keeping ourselves pretty happily occupied in the coming months. XD Rofl, I'm not too fond of the camera myself but we'll see what happens if Look-alike gets picked. :P

For the record, it's not that they don't get notifications, the problem lies in not being able to reply to screened comments, nor can we see them on the site if it's an entry we didn't make. XD

Those are some cool ideas. I just can't choose. Dx I was thinking of Story Role a few days ago, though.

(As for look-a-likes.. ... the camera usually doesn't like me.)

Oh, don't get me wrong. I may be one of the few who posts pictures. It's easier than describing myself. xD

That voice one sounds pretty fun (not to mention I have a microphone .0. ). Noo idea what character I sound like, though.

On the voice theme--dub or sub?

'Cause I'm a big dub fan, and...while I'd be kinda-sorta into the sub actors...I'd MUCH rather be stamped based on the dub actors. XD;; Would we have a chance to choose which translation we'd want to be stamped based on, or what?

Yeah, I know, I'm the only one who'd even care, but I REALLY care! D=

I was thinking about this very subject when I thought of the idea as well. Since we're all English-speaking (kinda have to be to post apps XD ), it really would make more sense to use the dub voices (different languages do make a significant difference in voice, and it would be much harder for us to compare). But I'm not sure if everyone here has heard them. XD;; My solution really would be to have clips of the voices of each, but would little voice clips of each be enough? ^^;; If it gets picked, we'll need to have a good discussion on this one, so yes, good point.

We might go all-out like with the Love Match theme and have an option for both. I'm personally a fan of the sub (plus I'm just more used to hearing Ahiru because I watched the show fansubbed >_> ) , but the choice should be there. Maybe even include an optional japanese option for those who are willing to take a shot at it. However terrible they sound. XD

Well....all out in the Love Match theme means the whole cast of characters; that's not as far as having two different sets of the whole cast altogether. :O I mean, I suppose we could have people pick between the voice casts, but....*twiddles fingers* That might be really hard on the voters, having to switch between them. And then there's the possibility of "in Japanese she'd sound more like [character] but in English she sorta sounds like [different character]". XO

(I guess for video games it's harder to get the Japanese version so people go by the dub by default so abyss_rating didn't have much of an issue like this)
