Tuti rolled over, draping an arm lazily across Takashi’s broad shoulders. He brushed his fingers over the smooth skin there, always a little amazed at just how beautiful this man next to him was, even asleep. His fingers found their way along the taut muscles of Takashi’s arm, and before he was able to stop himself, Tuti realized that he was actively trying to wake his boyfriend up, something he had promised to stop doing, at least when it was still this early. But Takashi was already shifting around, and a noise from the back of his throat indicated that it was already too late.
“I’m sorry.” Tuti looked down with a smile. “I really didn’t mean to wake you up.”
“What time is it?” Takashi’s groggy voice was barely above a whisper as he blinked at Tuti.
“Early.”
Tuti watched the dark eyes flickering up at him, not really sure how it was possible that the features of someone he saw so much could still have this effect on him. His pulse was quickening, and he swallowed several times because his throat had suddenly gone dry under Takashi’s gaze. Takashi moved closer to him, snuggling next to him tightly for a moment of warmth that set Tuti’s insides on fire, before rolling over onto his back again. Tuti would have laughed at Takashi’s utter obliviousness if it wasn’t for the fact that he was sure that right now, Takashi really wasn’t able to be aware of the effect he was creating here. He watched tired eyes close slowly, and he couldn’t help but run his fingers through the tuft of dark brown hair.
“Mmmm.” Takashi’s lips parted slightly, and the pink tip of his tongue flickered briefly across his bottom lip.
Tuti cleared his throat and watched Takashi’s face begin to move upwards into a smile.
“I should really let you get back to sleep,” Tuti told him, and Takashi's laugh was deep and low. “What time did you get in last night?”
“Late,” Takashi murmured, the slight smile not moving from his face as Tuti’s fingers traced along his cheek.
“Well, I can see that,” Tuti said softly, brushing his fingers under Takashi’s eyes, wishing he could erase the dark circles there, but knowing that it really didn’t matter how much sleep his boyfriend got, they always seemed to be there. “How late?”
“Mou, Tuti…” And the smile had worked its way into a slight pout. “Just late, ok?”
“I thought you said you were going to talk to them about that? It’s not in your contract-"
“Tuti…” The dark eyes were open and fixed on him now, and the smile had been completely overtaken by the down-turned lips.
“Takashi...” Tuti countered, smiling a little.
Confused eyes blinked at him. “What?”
“You know, you’re much prettier when you smile.”
“Baka…” Takashi’s arm moved quickly, but Tuti found that his reflexes were, for once, quicker.
Takashi’s upper body was strong, but… Tuti figured that catching him before he was truly awake was perhaps the key, as he easily pinned Takashi’s arms at his sides, and watched as Takashi’s face broke into a smile, one that Tuti was sure reached to every corner of the room. He loosened his grip and rolled onto his back, pulling Takashi on top of him, enjoying and submitting to the warmth that had filled his entire body. He was sure he was grinning stupidly, and he laughed for a second, pulling Takashi close.
“You really need to be careful with that.”
“With what?” And Tuti let out a low moan as Takashi pressed his hips downward strategically, with just the slightest application of pressure and movement. Takashi was still smiling, but his eyes had darkened, and his lips had parted slightly with what Tuti recognized immediately as lust and desire.
He swallowed again at the dryness in his throat, “Well, I was talking about that smile, but…”
“Which smile would that be?” Takashi was teasing him now, but Tuti found himself playing along with the game, without any real complaints.
“I think you know which one I mean.”
“Do I?” Takashi asked innocently.
“I’m sure you do.”
And then Takashi demonstrated that he did in fact know exactly which smile he meant, and Tuti was reminded just how disarming and… well, dangerous this smile was at such close proximity. He felt a slight, ridiculous twinge of jealousy and protectiveness though, as he watched those eyes glowing with happiness, because even though he was sure that Takashi was smiling just for him right now, he couldn’t help but wonder. Because he knew that Takashi smiled like this for the camera sometimes, and… It just didn’t seem fair, other people seeing this.
“Baka,” Takashi said after a second, leaning forward and kissing him, lightly at first, but after a moment, Tuti could feel his lips parting eagerly at the urgent press of Takashi’s tongue. Inside his mouth Takashi sucked deeply and Tuti found himself closing his eyes, and moaning a little at the pressure.
“Hey,” Tuti asked after a second when they had broken the kiss, running a hand down his boyfriend’s back a little possessively. “What did I do to deserve that last baka, anyway?”
Takashi grinned. “You were worrying.”
“I was?”
Takashi nodded seriously. “You were, but you don’t have to.”
“And why’s that? I’m not allowed to worry about my boyfriend using his killer smile on anyone who asks for it? Cameramen, fans? You name it, right?”
Takashi shook his head, and for a moment Tuti was a little worried that he’d gone too far.
“Tuti, you know I only smile like that for you. Only when I’m thinking about you, ok?”
Tuti blinked several times, not sure if he really believed this, but realizing that Takashi had managed to charm him anyway, regardless of whether this was true, or not.
“Hey.” Takashi was eyeing Tuti with concern. “I mean it, ok?”
“Ok.”
Takashi lowered his eyes. “You don’t believe me.”
“That’s true I don’t.” Tuti was smiling though, knowing that Takashi would see right through him if he said anything other than the truth anyway. “But I appreciate that you’re trying to make me feel better?”
“Mou, I was being nice and everything, Tuti.” And Takashi pouted a little before the look in his eyes turned a little devious. “Maybe I just need to prove it to you.” And Takashi moved his hips again, reminding Tuti of his abandoned state of arousal, and causing him to groan involuntarily.
“Maybe you do,” Tuti murmured when he could find his voice again.
“Yeah?” Takashi moved his hips again, watching Tuti writhe a little under him at the friction. Takashi had leaned forward, hot breath tickling Tuti’s ear as he spoke. “You might have to tell me what you want me to do though.”
And Tuti laughed, surprised at how deep his voice sounded, and pulled Takashi close, kissing him deeply, and becoming a little lost after a second, at the sensations that this warm body that was wrapped around him was able to make him feel. He felt a shiver of anticipation at Takashi’s words too, and he wondered if maybe Takashi had been telling the truth.
Well, even if he was, Tuti told himself, he still didn’t want to let Takashi out of his sight when he was smiling like that. They were still kissing, but it had turned into a gentle give and take now. A lazy, early morning kiss that was as close to perfection as Tuti had ever felt.
After a minute, Tuti broke the kiss, and leaned forward, pressing his lips against the softness of Takashi’s ear. He smiled as Takashi laughed loudly at his whispered words, and Tuti could feel the vibrations moving through his body because they were so close.
“Are you sure that’s all you want me to do?” Takashi was eyeing him a little suspiciously now. “You realize what an opportunity this is, right? I’m being really generous here.”
Tuti shook his head, grinning just a little at the confusion in Takashi’s eyes.
“Just smile?” Takashi asked.
Tuti nodded. “Please.”
“You’re so weird.”
But Tuti got what he wanted though as Takashi smiled down at him, even more radiantly than before, and he knew that it was true, that he was weird, because this really was all he wanted. Well, that, and he really thought that Takashi could use a few more hours of sleep. He told Takashi this, and was surprised at the lack of protest on his boyfriend’s part.
They rolled over and as Tuti draped his hand over Takashi’s shoulders again, his boyfriend shifted backwards, his back pressing against Tuti’s chest as his breathing slowed. “You’re sure the alarm’s still set?” He asked quietly after a second.
“Yeah, you still have about an hour or so.”
“Mmm.” Takashi murmured, moving a little closer to Tuti, the curve of his back pressing just a little against Tuti’s waist like it always did just before he fell asleep.
He’d been wide awake before, but Tuti realized as he stared at the smooth skin of Takashi’s neck, just at the base where his hair had begun to curl upwards, that his eyes were closing, despite his best efforts.
He figured this was ok though, because the last thing he wanted to do was move anyway.
