it was a tie between them and philips life-line, it's basically the same product/month-to-month service agreement/price.
the customer service i've experienced with RL is far and away above any other company i've contacted. they offer a self-checking batteries for the call pendant and a free lock box so the paramedics never have to break the door down if they can't reach anyone/no one arrives in time. i had a technical question about the phone line being on a splitter and they triple checked it and were straight up about it being doable, but not recommended given that it's an emergency device and you don't want to take the risk of the splitter going bad... everyone else said it would be just fine, no problem.
