The vid I made for fun! Nothing fancy, just good old angst in the form of a song. Oh, Les Mis. You have a beautiful soundtrack. And, Supernatural, you have beautiful people to do justice to that equally gorgeous music. :D
Eeee! The part with Mary as "the lady all in white" gave me goosebumps, it was just THAT good! *applause!* You did a fabulous job melding song, story and footage. Wonderfully melancholy and thoughtful! *more applause* Awesometacular job! ♥♥♥!!!
Thanks, Steve. I know this vid was spectacular, but I was really expecting a little bit more of a turnout in feedback. Your comment, as always, means a lot to me. :)
Dean = a little girl? Yeah, I think so too. :D As a little sibling myself, I think he deserves it for pestering his brother so by calling me "Sammy" and "Samantha." =P As least Cosette is a pretty (if not completely unheard of, at least for me) name. :)
Well, it is Saturday. Most people are probably out seeing Iron Man or something. :-) Give it time, they'll show up and shower you with much deserved praise. :-)
Like I said to Ais, that "lady all in white" line made me go 'ZOMG! Mary was wearing all white in that scene! MUST VID!' :D Yeah, this song was eerily appropriate for Dean. lol.
I'm glad you liked the vid, hon. You inspired me with your "This Is War" to say 'Screw it. I'm vidding this because I WANT TO and I don't give a crap about everyone else.' Unfortunately, it turns out I did give a slight crap, but oh well. I still like how this turned out.
I must tell you that for the first time watch a SPN fanvid - I cried. First, I have sentimental attachment to this song because it's one that I sang as a solo in high school (when I went through a HUGE Les Mis phase as well as my chorus teacher). Second, this was everything that draws me to Dean, the scared, sad little kid inside of him. Beautifully evocative.
I really really really loved it. Beautiful job of coloring, [cloud!]texture, transitioning, etc.. I love the title sequence, the way you moved the text with the intstrumental music which is haunting in itself. I loved your choice of expression on "aren't any floors for me to sweep" - that's when I started crying because it's just so sad, how much of a burden they've (and especially Dean) been forced to carry. And of course, I must echo the whole "lady in white" verse. It's when she sings "holds me and sings a lullaby" and he leans his head into her hand....*wimper*
You should be so so so proud of this. It's really touching. Now I must go grab a tissue.
Oh, exactly. That's what made me fall in love with Dean. When you see he's just a broken, self-loathing mess you just want to love him and take care of him.
This vid has gone on my hard drive and I'm sure I'll watch it many more times. I've already watched it three times today! lol

The "lady all in white" is the line that made me jump on the vidding bandwagon. Seriously, how perfect is this song for Dean and his dream!verse. :D
I'm really glad you like it and that you took the time to comment on it, hon! Thanks so much.
