http://turnthepageover.livejournal.com/36869.html I wrapped my arms around Aly’s small waist, nuzzling my nose into her hair. It smelled so good; so familiar, but I couldn’t place from where. I rubbed my thumb against her hip, kissing behind her ear gently.
She laid her head back, looking up at me.
“What’s up?” she asked, playing with my bangs.
“Hmm?” I hummed.
“You’re being really quiet,” she told me.
“I am?” I asked.
“Yeah, you are,” she said, reaching her hand out and grabbing mine. “What’s up?”
“Just thinking,” I answered, opening and closing my fingers around hers.
“What are you thinking about?” she asked, looking down at out hands. I shrugged, bringing her hand up to my lips and kissing her knuckles. “You aren’t getting bored with me, are you?”
“No,” I said, shaking my head quickly. I kissed her lips gently, stroking her cheek. “Of course not.”
“Okay,” she said, smiling.
I hugged her to me again, and she played with my hair, running her fingers through it.
“My best friend left a month ago without telling anyone where he was going And I’ve just been thinking about him a lot. I really miss him, and I can’t help but be worried,” I told her, feeling her rubbing my hand gently.
“I’m sorry,” she whispered.
I cuddled up to her, sighing.
She ran her fingers through my hair comfortingly as I rested my head on her chest, using her boobs as a pillow.
“I just don’t want anything to happen to him. He’s like a brother to me, you know?” I said. I felt her hand pause for a second, and she stiffened up before relaxing and combing her fingers through my hair again. I furrowed my eyebrows, but decided against asking her what was wrong.
“Y-yeah, I get it,” she said quietly. “You want a beer?”
“Sure,” I said.
“Okay. Well you’re gonna have to remove your head from my breasts first,” she said, and I laughed gently. I sat up, leaning in and kissing her before she could stand up.
“Mmm. Thank you,” she said, giggling. She unwrapped my arms from around her waist, standing up and fixing her jeans. She walked into the kitchen, and I heard the door to the fridge open. She walked out a few minutes later with two beers and a bag of chips and dip. She sat down on my lap, handing me the bar before tearing the chip bag open.
“Thank you,” I said, cracking the beer open and taking a long sip. I watched her open her own beer, sipping it before setting it down on the table. She took a chip out of the bag, dipping it in the dip and shoving it in her mouth.
“What do you wanna do, baby?” she asked, feeding me a chip and making me smile.
“Whatever you want,” I answered, kissing her temple.
“I want to… play a game,” she said, and I raised an eyebrow.
“What kind of game?” I asked.
“A board game,” she responded. “Or a card game.”
I laughed, nuzzling my nose into the back of her hair.
“You’re cute,” I told her.
“Don’t make fun of me. I haven’t played a legit board game in a long time. It sounds really fun,” she told me, and I nodded.
“I believe you,” I said. “What game do you wanna play?”
“I don’t know. Whatever Rian and Cassadee have laying around,” she said, standing up. She set the bag of chips down, walking over to a cabinet and opening the door. “Umm. There’s Clue, Monopoly, Sorry, a deck of cards, and, YES! Uno Attack! We’re playing.”
She grabbed the game, turning around and bringing it over to me. I smiled at her as she sat down on the floor.
“Come down here with me,” she said, patting the floor next to her. I slid down next to her, kissing her cheek. “Hey, cheater! Go sit over there! I don’t want you looking at my cards.”
I laughed, scooting across from her. I grabbed the bag of chips and my beer, continuing to eat happily as I watched her shuffle the cards. She began dealing them, giving me seven cards and herself seven cards. She closed the lid on the game piece, setting one card down on the lid.
“Okay. I dealt, so you go first,” she said, and I picked up my cards. I held them out in my hand like a fan, looking for a green card or a two. I laid down a green seven, looking up at Aly. She looked down at her cards in concentration, picking a yellow seven up and putting it down on top of the other card.
“Do you want me to go easy on you?” I asked, watching her glare up at me.
“No, douche bag,” she responded. “I can win fair and square.”
“Alright,” I answered, laying down a card that said she had to hit the button twice. She pouted, hitting it once. No cards came out, and she tentatively pressed down again. The machine made a noise, spitting out about five or six cards at her.
“Damnit!” she cursed, picking her cards up. I smirked at her, laying my next card down. “Don’t smirk at me, you cute asshole.”
“I don’t think assholes are supposed to be cute, Al,” I said, and she stuck her tongue out at me.
“Someone better tell that to your face,” she told me, laying her card down and making me chuckle. “Hand me my beer.”
“Say please,” I said, and she gave me a smirk.
“Please, Jack,” she said sweetly, and I stretched my arm to grab it. I handed it to her, and she took it, sipping it. “Now hurry up and take your turn, bastard.”
“Yes, ma’am,” I said, laying down a wild card. She groaned, hitting the button. She hit a second and third time, and then a fourth. Only a two cards were spit out this time. She picked them all up, putting them into her hand.
“What color?” she asked.
“Red,” I answered.
She laid her card down, looking back up at me and taking another drink of beer.
“Uno,” I said, and her eyes widened.
“What?! No way! You cheated!” she exclaimed, and I laughed.
“I did not cheat!” I said. “It’s not my fault you had to keep hitting the button.”
“Yes it is! You kept laying down those cards!” she said.
“You’re a sore loser!”
“I haven’t even lost yet!” she exclaimed, hitting the button. She put down a card to hit the button twice. I hit it once, and nothing happened. Then I hit it a second time. Again, nothing happened. “What?!”
She stared at me wide-eyed, and I laughed. I laid down my last card, wiggling my fingers at her.
“Fuck you!” she said, pouting.
“Aw, baby,” I said, reaching my hands out for her. She continued to pout, scooting back.
“You cheat.”
“I don’t.”
“You do.”
“I don’t,” I said, crawling closer to her. She crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at me.
“Yes you do.”
“No, I don’t,” I told her, grabbing her wrists.
“Cheater,” she said, wrinkling her nose as I brought my face closer to hers.
“Loser,” I teased, touching my nose to hers.
She fought her smile, but I could still see the sparkle in her eyes. I leaned my mouth forward, kissing her sweetly. I pulled away after a couple of seconds.
“Cheater,” she muttered, and I laughed, grabbing her arm and playfully pushing her back. I laid down on the floor with her, kissing from her cheek to her mouth to her other cheek. “Ewww! You’re slobbering all over me! Jay!”
I laughed at the sound of her giggles, pinning her hands down to her sides as I kissed her again.
I pulled away after a few minutes, looking down into her yes.
“You’re beautiful,” I told her, and she blushed.
“Th-thank you,” she said.
“I like you,” I told her, kissing her cheek and making her giggle.
“I like you too.”
