A:N: Gender swap, ftw.

I moaned as our tongues met, wiggling and swirling together, fighting for dominance. He submitted quickly, and I ran my fingers down his sides to his hips. I rubbed my thumbs along the soft skin, tracing along his protruding hipbone. I squeezed the skinny hips, swiping my tongue against his before pulling back and biting down on his bottom lip.

I felt his lips break away from mine, teeth trailing down to my neck. He sucked on a sweet spot, lips trailing up and closing around my earlobe. He sucked and nibbled, and I moaned, grinding my hips forward.

“Mm, Jack,” I whimpered, and then I felt the lips pull away.

“What?!” I opened my eyes, seeing a brunette standing in front of me. Her penciled in eyebrows were raised, and a look of disgust was set on her lips.

“Uh, what?” I asked, ears brimming red.

“My name isn’t Jack,” she stated, lip curling up.

“W-what?” I stuttered.

“Fucking gross,” she scoffed, shoving me away and walking back towards the bar.

“What?” I muttered again, frowning.

I walked away slowly, stepping up to the bar. The bartender brought me another bottle of beer, cracking it open for me before he handed it over. I took it, quickly taking a long sip. I turned around, looking for any of my friends.

I saw Rian and Cassadee dancing on the floor a short while away from me. Not far away from them was Jack. I cringed as I watched him grind on some bottle blonde. Her hair was fake, her boobs were fake, her ass was probably fake. She looked just like Holly. Why he kept going after the same kind of girls, I had no idea. All I knew is that it was no fun for me to watch.

I took another long sip of my beer, trying to get my buzz back. Unfortunately, the beer wasn’t doing the job.

“Alex,” I heard Jack’s voice, and I turned to see him coming up behind me as I ordered a shot. “Did you see that girl?”

The ugly peroxide bitch?

“The blonde? Yeah,” I answered.

“Bro, she’s so fucking hot! Don’t you think?” he asked.

No. I think you’re hot. Let’s go fuck in the bathroom. Please.

“She’s not my type,” I answered, taking my shot of Jager and downing it quickly.

“Bro, you shoulda told you were taking shots! Come on, I’ll do them with you!” he exclaimed.

Only if they’re body shots. Oh-oh fuck, don’t bend over in front of me, no-

I watched his ass as he bent over the bar to get the bartender’s attention. It wiggled slightly as he waved his arm, and I couldn’t peel my eyes away.

“Alex!” I heard a voice yell, and I snapped my head towards them. I looked down to see Cassadee standing in front of me, a knowing smile on her face.

“Alright, I got a round. Stay here so I can go get Tiffany,” he said, and I frowned.

“I’m going home,” I stated, watching Jack walk away.

“Why?” she asked.

“I’m not gonna watch him take body shots off another slut. It’ll ruin my buzz. I’m just gonna go home, pop open some wine, and spend yet another night with my hand,” I said, moving towards the door.

“Hold up. I’m coming with you. Let me go say bye to Rian,” she said, turning to walk away.

“No, stay. Be with your boyfriend. I’m fine,” I told her.

“He won’t care. And I think you need some girl talk,” she said, making me frown again.

“I am not a girl,” I pouted, watching her step away. I saw Jack coming back towards the bar, and I turned around, walking in the opposite direction.

“I said wait up,” Cassadee called, running up to me.

“I was hiding,” I answered before dragging her out of the door.

“Have you ever thought about just telling him how you feel?” Cassadee asked, and I made a face.

“I’ve thought about how he would freak out. And how he would stop talking to me. And the band would fall apart. And I would lose the best friend I’d ever had,” I told her.

“You’re overdramatic,” she told me, taking a sip of her drink.

“Definitely not I,” I told her, sighing and laying back.

“Cheer up, Lexy,” she said, smacking my leg.

“I wonder if he took her home,” I wondered out loud, and she groaned.

“Don’t worry about it,” she said. “God, you’re like a teenage girl.”

“Once again, I’m not a girl,” I told her, and she rubbed my shin comfortingly.

“Whatever you say, Lexy,” she said, and I frowned.

“God,” I laid my head back, looking up at the ceiling.  “This is stupid.”

“Being in love isn’t stupid, Lex,” she told me.

“That’s because you found love. I’m just lost in love,” I said. “With someone who’s never gonna love me back.”

“You don’t know that.”

“Sometimes I just, I wish I was a girl, one just his type. Then we’d be perfect together, you know?”

“You already are perfect together,” she told me, and I sighed.

“Everyone else realizes it but him.”
