[ooc: Forward-dated to after the end of the event...because I'm too lazy/busy to wait until tomorrow. -- Cass, if you'd like to either backdate a log or handwave some interaction with the chibis, that'd be cool (though I understand if you don't want to/can't now). I'm sorry I got a little too busy and distracted to figure that plot out.]

It was kind of fun! Gai-sensei and Tenten and I had a pillow-fight, and Hinata-san was very cute as a little girl. [Lee beams.] Though it was strange to see Gai-sensei as a woman... and you were very stubborn as a child, Kakashi-sensei.

Neji didn't participate?
[He chuckles at Lee's assessment of Hinata.] If you're not careful, Lee-kun, your boyfriend might think you have eyes for all the pretty Hyuuga.

Yeah, Gai didn't make the most ideal woman. And I wouldn't exactly call that stubbornness. Maybe...stupidity.

[Lee ruffles his hair and his cheeks flush.] I think he was busy adjusting to being a girl. And I did not mean it like that! She was tiny and adorable. [He gestures to about knee-high in explanation, and smiles.]

[He laughs.] You were very convinced that Gai-sensei was a woman and not a very good ninja.

Did you assist in helping him adjust? [Now that he's not a kid anymore, in comes the teasing.]
Ah, I see. So you and Neji got to place house, then, a little more completely than normal. Daddy, Mommy, and baby-Hinata.

[A closed eye smile.] Like I said "stupidity." Who could have really been convinced your sensei was a woman, hm?

I found the gender alterations most fascinating.

And you were... an interesting child.

[a brief chuckle] With a boyfriend like yours, I'm sure you did. [And by this he just means because it's Saul. Not because Saul was a girl that week, because he wouldn't have known that.]

..."Interesting." That's one way to put it.

But of course. [An understanding smirk.]

I understand you desperately wanted to ride that cow.

[And he sees that smirk.] If there's a good story, you're going to have to show and tell.

[Sigh. Of all people...] Well, who wouldn't? It's a very pretty cow.

I'm so glad I'm not seven anymore...

I seem to recall you were cute at that age, though.

And seven's not a bad number, is it?

If you think a little girl who can't stop crying is cute.

Seven's not a bad number, it's just a bad age it seems.

I do. Especially knowing what she grows up to become.

There are worse ages, I suppose.

Hm?

You were cute when little. Can I help it if I like my students cute?

No, you can't.

I'm not...that difficult to deal with.

Depends, I suppose, on the day, time of month, etc.
But what's life without a little challenge, hm?

Some of us were too busy trying to figure out how to climb onto chairs to be scarred by Sensei.

turn_a_blindeye May 30 2010, 04:44:16 UTC
The chairs are pretty high, yeah. [chuckles]

Then again, I think I found your sensei disturbing even while three years old.

I think we might need to keep more pillows or books around just in case for the future.

And you got in argument with Lee about Sensei. I don't think your judgement was the best ever.

Probably a good idea. Although from personal experience, books are great step-stools.

Most three year olds are pretty stupid, no matter how high their IQ is.
