Strangers in the night?

I awoke to rustling sounds about 3 am. I turned on the light, a pair of glowing eyes shone back from under the tunnel created by a clumsy pile of books on my bedside table. It was a wee mouse. A bang on the table and it was gone ( Read more... )

Years ago I helped a friend make Christmas puddings around this time of year, which were duly wrapped in foil and stored. When unwrapped, one proved to have a small tunnel and a family of extremely fat and happy mice living in the centre.

eeeeeek, I'v ensured this doesn't happen by putting them in cookie tins. Damn mice can even eat through plastic!
