I've spent the day making lots more mess

Some progress, lesson's learned in silk banner making. The banners aren't horrid, but they are nowhere near good. I now know what that the blue I ordered is wrong, like the green, red and yellow. The glass wall is an inspired idea - perfect.

I'd wanted glass for the deck sides - it needs some sort of barrier, for years. But couldn't justify the expense when the other was working. When half the deck was removed last year, I had a moment of inspiration at the lumber store, asked if they had any outdoor deck glass - this bit was left from another job, price marked down considerably, so I snagged it and dear brother installed it.

Tell Hagrid thanks, but next time send Poppy, she's a bit gentler or maybe Severus can be bribed.

When I had my previous car, I started it up one Monday morning and was subjected to a blizzard of foam chippings from the air vents, because the little buggers had spent the weekend demolishing the under-bonnet sound insulation and towing it into the fresh air system. On my present car they simply ate through the windscreen washer pipe. I have three useless cats.

Lovely view!

The used my under-bonnet insulation too. My (long departed) very ancient corgi Woodruff used to kill mice all the time. Bram can't be bothered. I'm afraid I've never seen the point of cats.

Very true, it seems they like the car hood insulation and windshield fluid. B*stards!
