Bad news - car need new shocks as well as brakes. Damn. It's always something, and it always happens when we have more to do than we have time to do it.

Glad you got fired. This is the first time I have ever said that to anyone. What in the world did the daughter get so upset about? And what will she do after she has fired all the nurses? Is her parent not competent to state her own wishes?

Lord knows -I wasn't suitably subservient and amused at her getting her mum to do the salad, I had made it abundantly clear that when I explain that the IV is very precarious - that means that her mother should not have been washing lettuce and gods knows what else. She has one arm in a sling- smashed elbow and upper arm- all pinned together and a mess in many ways. Highly corrosive IV antibiotic infusing in tiny vein in hand- I was not happy doing this as it is a HUGE malpractice risk- but as it was going before I got there not much I could do but tell them the risks and document like mad

Yay for getting fired! Sounds like that was a mess you didn't need. Too bad the daughter is a nut job.

Sorry to hear about the car troubles. Sometimes I think they wait to go wonky until it's the least desirable time.
