Last thing to be painted, in the continuing reno, was the wood stove. Over the years it had accumulated spots of paint- former owners decided not to cover it- splatters! also some rust from a leaky chimney. Now it's all spiffy- still black, but now the gold trimmed door really looks good.

I go like mad- then crash. There is something hidden in my head that is making me do Xmas decor- lord knows there is enough other stuff that HAS to be done. A mild form of procrastination.

skirting boards/baseboards to be installed
trim around one door
pictures to be re-hung
bookcase in from garage- might be interesting getting at it due to snow- must ply brother with booze first
mosaic around woodstove needs to be grouted and then installed- I'm the hold up here- haven't finished one panel. I also have to paint the baseboard and buy the trim for the door- ran out- it will need to be painted too. eeeeek
