Last thing to be painted, in the continuing reno, was the wood stove. Over the years it had accumulated spots of paint- former owners decided not to cover it- splatters! also some rust from a leaky chimney. Now it's all spiffy- still black, but now the gold trimmed door really looks good.
I decorated the three new windows- picspam to come. While I'm not putting up a tree, I have made a wreath for the door and will gather some greenery and make a garland for over the patio door.
The dump saw me twice this weekend. Ex-floor is all gone, also many bags of assorted construction debris, cardboard and blank sheets from discharged charts in the recycling.
I plowed through a pile of discharged charts- a few more to do, but I have made a huge dent in the backlog.
My upper back is very sore.
