So, after that one time when Kon died, I stopped reading comics completely and just made up alternate universes in my head where he didn't die. There was that one where he joined the Superbuddies. Here's another.

I miss Roxy so much; she's a firecracker, and you caught that in these snippets. I also love the pic -- awesome '90s Superboy always makes me smile. He's just so rad!

I have these persistant fantasies of her bitching out Batman for calling Kon "the clone," and informing him that Batgirl should be so lucky as to date her brother.

*sigh*

Thanks :) 90's Superboy is one of my very favorite things ever; he always cheers me up when I'm down.

Questions: Which time Kon died? That time with the Ravers? Was that the first time?

Ahaha, good point. Uh, the most recent one where he was gone for several years and I had the time to go off and sulk and make up my own AUs?

(Man, the Ravers. I read some of that waaaaay back, but I don't remember much. I should re-read the issues I have.)

Ah. Fair enough. The one with the Ravers got reversed pretty quickly.

(It's... not a great book. I would hesitate to call it a good book. But it's strangely endearing...)

I can only remember an image of his being dead, not even how it happened.

(...yeah. I remember buying them WAY back when, before I really knew what I was doing in comics, thinking they were the actual Superboy series. And being kinda relieved when I realized that it was not the actual series. But it had it's moments.)

If only. I miss this Kon, despite only having gotten into comics after Teen Titans. I have Young Justice and most of his series until he moves to Cadmus. I'll have to start looking for those comics again.

Yeah, I'm the same way. By the time I got into him, YJ was long over--but I've read his series and what YJ I could get my hands on way more than I read the Teen Titans stuff, until now it feels like I'm an oldschool fan and that was my original Kon.

Oh, this is wonderful. Roxy looks awesome in your style and your Superboy is amazing as usual. (The eyebrows! His hair! The fact that he looks his age!)

The fic is also pretty adorable, of course. Superboy and Roxy make a great pair. I can only imagine the shenanigans they'll get up to.
