And you wrote Tony/Buffy! I adore the concept of that pairing and regardless of him being overprotective and possible terrified of vampires I could definitely see him not wanting her to patrol anymore. I could also see Buffy needing to; though perhaps not while she's pregnant. :)

Yay, someone else who likes Tony/Buffy! Buffy needs a good guy, and Tony needs a strong woman. But he would totally drive her nuts with overprotective daddy-to-be behavior- probably all the more because vamps freak him out. :)

Enjoyed both drabbles! Though I'm curious when the first one was set in HP timeline. And the second: *wince*. Emotionally evocative and believable in a small space. I don't know NCIS, but the "quit Slaying" Issue is not something Buffy's ever had a good track record with.

In my head, after Deathly Hallows, what's left of Harry's year return in September for an 8th year at Hogwarts to finish their NEWTs (as it seems unlikely even those in school the prior year were getting much of an education, and quite a few didn't come back/went into hiding/had horrible things happen to them) and that's when this drabble occurs. (I know the Buffy timeline and HP timeline don't line up this way in canon, but I also see the end of Sunnydale happening around the same time as the Battle of Hogwarts, making Dawn about the right age to be a seventh year, albeit one who would be remedial in some subjects.) My ficlet Detention is also set in this timeline.
