I know so well what you mean by going into SMAP-withdrawal... Though I mostly had it during 2016 and then broke through with a burst of fic (esp since I had to finish this before the end of the year!) and the help of meeting fellow Smappies in Japan :) Now I guess I'm in something like denial, since I keep buying SMAP goods and watching their shows with more dedication than I ever did before :P If you're ever in Japan, we should definitely go for some SMAP karaoke! There's nothing quite like 2-3 hours of SMAP songs to make everything right with the world<3

(it's almost 3 am and I'm not sure I'm making sense anymore, but I've stalled on these replies long enough - for which I am so terribly sorry! I'd been planning to get back here whenever I have a peaceful moment, but that didn't quite happen until now.)

I'll hold you to that SMAP karaoke promise! <3 I'm sort of still at the level of dl-ing SMAP shows but never getting around to watching them. although I think that one of the things that pushed SMAP back for me, additionally to the breakup, is the lack of fandom? in the good old days when there were more of us around, you always had someone posting about something they found squee-worthy, which sort of compelled you to check it out if you hadn't seen it/join in with the squeeing if you had. and I hate how whiny and old this makes me sound. but I'm still not ready to let go of this fandom! XD

I got to write Tsuyoshi in an apron so I have no regrets therenow... is that a thing? 'cause I seem to remember more apron'ed Tsuyoshis from you. there was definitely one in Take five au fic, and

I know what you mean about the lack of fandom-- there's people on twitter but I don't really like using it (I'm more of a long sprawling post and picspam person :P) I really should at least update this poor journal...

show-wise, Goro Deluxe and Momm are always pretty interesting! also, the Miyavi-Kimura interview a while back was pretty adorable, in an intense sort of way XD
