There's an issue of Low Rider magazine, or a few issues - we saw it maybe in early 2010 or late 2009 - with a Dickies ad inside featuring a stout Latino gentleman with long hair and a chin beard and arm tattoos. He looks enough like Rucchan that we really want that page, or a jpg (and are willing to buy the issue if we find it. We checked May 2010 and it wasn't there. Anyone who's ever seen that ad and has an idea where we could get it, it's last year's quest!
Also, I want to read the Morbius/rise of the midnight sons story, as much of it as I can. I don't really care about the format (someone letting me read their comics, showing me some files, whatevs).
Also also, there's this candy I used to love as a child, but have never been able to find...my dad would occasionally bring home smooth gummy purple rings, never in a marked/branded packaging but in a plastic bag...only grape, as far as I know, not sugar-covered or sour, and with an awesome firm texture. For all I know he got them at old-timey Safeway :P, or some long defunct farmers' market...I'm now on a journey to find their like. Anyone know if they might still be around, and what they're called if so?
Also also also, I saw this this Rainbow Brite movie when I was little where she has to save her other color friends (ROYGBIV I guess) who've been kidnapped...I remember one girl was trapped in a high bird's nest, and I think another one was in/behind a thorn wall...It doesn't really sound like the plot of "Star Stealer" as I'm reading blurbs, but I could be wrong...anyone else ever see that and can confirm the title? The way the kids were each trapped intrigued me greatly at the time ^^;;
