Haha, "headcanon", I like it! That's the first time I've seen that term, but I shall immediately adopt it :)
Anyways, I thought this was well-played. Good job!

W-wow. Definitely a refreshing change to the other fanfics on the subject of the revolution. Also, the history was very interesting (being a Brit, we didn't learn this stuff in school ^.^;;).

Thank you~ It wasn't taught? Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised--it's a sore spot, isn't it?

You can take American history once you're on to optional education, but not in the early years. I guess it's because we have way too much history ourselves. (But why did we have to be taught about evacuation like 3 times then? ><) But yes, maybe just a liiittle sore... XD

You can't have too much history. It seems like they teach American history over and over again sometimes over in Alfredian. XD D'aww, it's alright. I'm sure Alfredians still have a soft spot for Arthurians. :D

Wao. That was certainly a new take on how Revolution played out between the two. I liked Royalist there, and England recalling his past there, saying America didn't know what it was like since England protected him. Sorta reminded me of the doujin I just finished scanning XP

*sigh* Oh Iggy. I love Revolution fics but they always put me in blue for my dear Iggy.

May I ask which doujin?

Yes, he's such a fun character to write and I love him dearly, but...

Thanks for the comment!

Nice icon!

It's 天使が迎えにくる日. It was actually France saying that, surprise surprise, regarding Asa and Alfie... But yeah, that's the next one on my list to scanlate atm XD

But he bears so much... angst! *pat pat* Poor guy.

I think I saw that one. Though, I'm not sure seeing as how I look/read at almost every USUK doujin there is.

Definitely true.

These two boys... man.

Your writing style is so fresh and easy to read. You've got just enough detail to make me feel full, but you don't go on and on with run-on sentences! I love it!

Thank you so much for sharing. Do you have any other Hetalia-related fics that you've written? I'd love to read more from you. <3

Well, you're right that there was a split, but the side that went with England was actually called the loyalists. Maybe Royalist is another name I haven't heard before though?

Anyway.. It was very slanted towards an American viewpoint of the revolution, but, well, I really liked it! Plus, they always slant the history towards our side in the classroom, so, what are you going to do about it. Still, if you're thinking of making revisions you might want England to mention how the taxes were very small in comparison to what the people of England were paying, and that he needed the money because he was seriously broke after defending America in the French Indian War.

Still, loved the whole "I'm protecting you thing." I never really think about it, but that is so true how much England suffered in his youth and stuff, America never had to deal with that, so I really appreciated that insightful angle.

Thanks for the great read!

Oh no! You're probably right. I don't think I actually checked but I guess it's always been in my head that they were called the Royalists. Thanks for the correction!

Definitely true. I had a biased education. Thanks for the critique, will definitely keep in mine and if I get off my lazy butt, I'll revise it.

f;alkd England is just so angsty. ♥
