30 Days of PR Meme Day 14

Lessons learned so far for this year's NaNo:

• It's hard to write about a character who gets up before dawn when you're writing in the afternoon and evenings.
   
• Skirts are comfy. Also in-character.
   
• My NaNo is apparently orange-flavored. Orange Tootsie Roll Pops are my friends.
   
• Writing about people in the desert seems to require that I eat light, fresh, healthy food. No, I have no idea why.

Still nowhere near *yesterday's* Word Goal, let alone today's, but hey. I wrote things!

1) R.J., without a doubt. Namely because of the episode Can't Win Them All. Because he is hilariously awesome, and I fell in love with him in that episode.

• "R.J.! It's Casey. Where's Theo?"
  "He's with me."
  "Good! Lily and I are engaged in a battle with the Rinshi and Gecko. Camille's here, too."
  "Well ... fight on, my man!"
  "We need Theo!"
  "You do not *need* him. You may *want* him - "
  "Fine! We want him!
  "Sorry. Not possible. Theo is ... occupied at the moment."

• "There. I made it. Are you happy?"
  "Most of the time. But not quite yet."
  -Theo and R.J.

2) Andrew Hartford. He was a good guy with a few self-serving tendencies that gave him a less-than-perfect image. He created the morphers to help save the world, but he wanted to be a Ranger, too. But even when he didn't get to be one, he still fought hard on the sidelines for every one of his Rangers, and did his best to take care of them. He may not have been the *best* mentor, but he certainly tried hard to be a good one.

3) Sensei Watanabe, 'cause the Ninja Hampster will never not be cool and funny. And he actually had good advice, while being overprotective of Cam at the same time. Which sucked for Cam, but it was nice to see a more 'human' side of Sensei (obvious puns aside).
