I'm with you on Donna. I much preferred it when companions were not expected to fall into romantic love with the Doctor (or vice versa), and had real character.
my sister had to pitch the mozzarella because it had been out of the fridge too long. such a waste of cheese!
i think donna and the doctor came to love each other but she was never in love with him, which i really appreciated. (while i liked martha a lot i was so annoyed that by like the second or third episode she seemed to be falling in love with the doctor. every companion doesn't need to be a love interest! yeesh.) donna was a great companion - and it helped that catherine tate and david tennant had fabulous chemistry - and they did her so dirty.

Yes exactly - the Doctor should inspire love but not rumpy pumpy! Talk about problematic age gaps... 😂
