i keep having stuff to do during my week off

so far on my week off i have:

been to the grocery store
worked on my holiday project for writing group
watched the entirety of lotr on tv
gone to cousins j&m's house to watch die hard (the best christmas movie that isn't about christmas) and eat food

I hear ya. Every day I think tomorrow I can relax and concentrate on getting some art done and then the day comes and there's something else To Do. 😂

Hmm I wonder why people never mention Trading Places when talking about Christmas movies. It's my fave! 😂

i kind of wish stuff would stop happening for just a day. just one day! so we can kick back and do something fun and make some art and not have to put on real clothes or leave the house.

i never saw trading places! does it happen over christmas? i don't know why it doesn't make christmas movie lists - maybe it just didn't make that much of an impression after a few years had passed?

i really hope someone was filming when that roommate came home and found her room gift-wrapped. i can't get over that they wrapped the desk and little desk lamp and the pillows on the bed. it's a good shenanigan.

Trading Places does indeed happen over Christmas - I was never very keen on Eddie Murphy in anything else, but he and Dan Ackroyd are flipping great in this. I'd highly recommend it - it's sure to leave you with a big smile on your face.
