usually i wait until all the bangs have been posted, because no one comments on ao3 and it's easier for me to archive stuff from here, but you're the only comment so far so you get a fic! download and enjoy. :D
Very different ending than the usual J2 story and I appreciated the realism that they didn't get back together.
I also very much enjoyed the stream-of-consciousness writing. Usually when I hit a lot of descriptive passages I tend to skim them but I was really captivated by Jared's descriptions of what he was seeing out the car windows.
You have a very fluid writing style which I enjoyed.
thank you! i figured out as i was writing that j&j couldn't get back together at the end, for the simple reason that neither of them is going to move. they each like where they are. and neither of them wants a long-distance relationship. it's definitely a different kind of ending and i had no idea how it would go over, so i'm really glad it worked for you. the stream of consciousness was definitely an experiment and i'm thrilled you liked that too.
Wow, you did a great job with Jared’s internal thought process. It was really interesting that his thoughts all consisted of a monologue aimed at Jensen. We’ll done!
in the interests of full disclosure, i must admit i lifted "fic as monologue told to a particular person" wholesale from a story a former friend wrote. her plot and characters were entirely different but i thought it was such a neat way to tell a story, and once i determined that i couldn't hear it in my head any other way. i'm really glad it worked for you! and thank you. ^_^

I'm reading most as epub's and that is not possible from LJ.
