Aw you had a fangirl hangout - we did that over Christmas in lieu of all the conventions we've missed - it was lovely to see their faces and hear their voices for a change. Maybe this year we'll actually finally get to meet up again.

i love tumblr. it's the worst time sink but it's full of pretty pictures and cute videos and occasionally educational posts about science and space and shit. i just turn my brain off and scroll.

in the absence of fangirls in person, online hangouts are the next best thing. i'm glad you got to have one too! and fingers crossed we can start physically meeting up soon. i think confabcon is intended to be in person this year, altho it's also not until october or november so there's time for the world to get a grip on things. you know, if you want to come to the states to be with fangirls. :D

I'd love to do something fannish in the US (or Canada) again but feel it's unlikely to be any time soon. At the moment I', just hoping the 2 JIBcons postponed over and over from 2020 will finally happen this year. At the moment we have JIB12 scheduled for July and JIB11 dates yet to be announced but most likely November. It's all very confusing!
