I MORE than remember Oskar and Conrad, and wish you would take them up again. I wrote a play in 2017 called VERITY about the murder of Jewish children at the end of the war at a Hamburg school named Bullenhauser. They had been experimented upon. I do get the sadness factor, but what I liked about the O/C fics was that their story ended on a note of hope. I taught a course on genocide a few years ago, and even a glimmer of hope helps me cope with the worst event in modern history.

the best i can do is probably little shorts here and there because seriously, the whole story has SO MUCH and i don't think i have it in me to do it justice. but i really appreciate how much you like them. :D and of course their story ends with hope - i'm happy-ending girl and if you're not going to write a holocaust story without it, why would you bother?
