OMG I love the idea of a Little Free Yarn Library. I have been trying and trying to use up my yarn stash and have all sorts of projects I want to try but don't have the right yarn for it'd be nice to be able to switch some out for more useful/wanted stuff.

was it you who said there was a local little free library that had stuff in it? i think, like, kitchen stuff? a little yarn library seems like both a great idea to help knitters with excessive stashes get rid of some yarn, and a terrible idea to encourage knitters to acquire more. but isn't it a neat idea? i love that people really use it, too.

On tumblr I know I've reblogged a few little free libraries that were food pantry type ones but I don't think kitchen stuff. That is a great idea. Generally any kind of borrowing system that encourages sharing instead of everyone buying their own new thing is just so great. I love it.

Interviews are good - fingers crossed this one will pay off. I used to find it was the uncertainty of being in between that was the most damaging to morale.

Oh I saw that violin-playing operation somewhere else - so amazing!

that one didn't pan out, but the guy is apparently very picky and hard to work for, so i'm not too broken up. and i had another interview today at the same place, so... fingers still crossed. :D

it really is! i don't like being in limbo. it's demoralizing not having a place to go.

modern medicine is so cool.
