L'shana tovah!! Ooh, you make honey cake? Do you have a recipe that works for you? I've tried 3 different ones over the years but have never been happy with any. Mostly they either stuck to the pans completely no matter how much I greased them or overflowed and made a mess or burned.

The preservation lab sounds amazing.

grandma's honey cake! there is in fact a piece defrosting in my kitchen as i type. :D

the preservation lab was so cool! if i could go back to my grad school days and put myself in library science instead, that's where i'd want to end up. conservation! old shit!
