I got my hair cut today for the first time since April (I think), and yes you all needed to know that. I smell like salon and hair products but my hair is shorter and cute now. aw, thank you! i'd say i'm glad to be back but i still don't know if this is going to be a good idea or not. >.< it will definitely get me to post (and read!) more.

it was so weird and cute to suddenly see something in the deli case with eyes. such a shocked pancetta, too.

the curling joke came from a friend of mine via siri, of all things. i'm glad you like it. :D

mostly, yeah. it helps that i have a good group - everyone's invested in giving good feedback and not being an asshole about things that don't work or that they just don't like, and i generally respect their opinions. and they're nice people. i don't like all the submissions (in a "this isn't my thing" kind of way, not a "this is terribly written" kind of way, altho almost everything is a first draft) but i'm sure not everyone likes everything i submit, so it evens out.
